Organic compounds like 4-tert Butyphenol are useful for a range of industrial purposes. Butyphenol has a unique white color with a phenolic odor, and it gets dissolved in water. 

Para-tertiary-butyl phenol-formaldehyde resin is one such compound made of formaldehyde

and para-tertiary-butylphenol’s polycondensate. It is also referred to as PTBPF- R (C10H14O). The CAS registry number of the substituted phenol is 98-54-4.  Some occupational sources of PTBPF- R are adhesives and glues in several industries. Para-tertiary-butyl-phenol works like sensitizers. The PTBPF chemical is easily identifiable with its white crystalline solid look. The molar mass of the component is 150.221 g·mol−1, while the molar mass is about 0.908 g/cm3. The water solubility of the chemical is 0.6 g/L.

Uses of PTBPF-

The major application of PTBPF is in the production of
